I must first apologise for my brief inactivity. There's no easy way to put it but I have been working very hard recently on assets and designs and Mega Man Super Charged. I cannot show you any of what I've been working on as we're still keeping development under wraps but I had hoped to keep to a semi-regular posting schedule here so as not to disappoint my recent newest watchers, hello by the way and thank you for the support! Hopefully once this turbulent period has passed I'll be able to start posting more. About three or so days ago, my computer suffered a hard drive failure. I have since not been able to get back into my machine and make sure all my data is safe. It is a really poorly timed circumstance but one that I don't have the energy to face head on right now. I'll be taking a short break to go and visit family and hopefully when I return I should have a clearer idea of what we I want to do regarding this situation. If the outcome is bleak and none or very little of my data has survived, that's the end. After everything that's happened over the past five to six years I just don't have the energy to start over again from scratch. To just let so much unfinished work go unresolved and begin anew is a thought I do not like to think about. However, on a more positive note: if all my data has survived, I can pickup right where I left off with a new machine and hopefully work through the stuff faster with the powerful new specs. For now, only time will tell... Yours sincerely, Zedicon.

A little late, but Happy New Year everyone!! Let's make this year a productive one!! I'm busy working on bits and pieces, I'm not sure how much work I'll be able to post here and what is to be kept under wraps for projects but I'll try and keep this page as active as I can!!

Don't do it. Just don't. I have asked on many different platforms and in many different formats in many different ways to not edit my work without permission from myself. I think that some people need to exercise some decorum and respect my rules for my work. If you really want to, like really REALLY want to edit my work, then ask. Ask. Ask. ASK. Worst case scenario, I say no and that's the end of it. On the other hand, I say yes and you get the go ahead. Contrary to popular belief; I actually like people editing my work as long as they ask for permission to do so first. I started working with Mega Man sprites over a decade ago editing sprites from Mega Man 2. I wholeheartedly believe it was a formative stepping stone that pushed me along the path to developing skills as an amateur sprite artist. If you want to edit my work, just ask me first. Please?

Hello I like your sprites

hey, Welcome to Year 2023.

Happy New Year 2023 (Cuphead Mockup)

Just had a look through your portfolio; some great work in there. You're a seriously adept pixel artist, sir - I hope one day my own pixel work is of a similar calibre.

Thank you very much!

With pixelart, it's all about practise, as cliché as it sounds. I've been doing pixelart approaching 15 years now so I've had a fair bit of time to play around with techniques and styles that work, it's a shame I don't have any of my old stuff to show you the difference, the only thing I have is my old Mega Man 7 sprites, though they're only about eight or so years old.

Most of what I've worked on has been related to Mega Man, whose art styles are incredibly easy to replicate given that there is reference for the work everywhere, it's also a really easy style to get your head around!

As long as you keep at it you'll be noticing an improvement in no time!

Best of luck

~Zedicon

Sounds like sage advice. Thank you! :)
